Donna Pierce, university counsel, elected to TBA Board of Governors

University Legal Counsel Donna L. Pierce has been elected to the Tennessee Bar Association Board of Governors. She took office as the Fourth District Governor at the board’s recent meeting in Nashville.

In her position on the board, Pierce will represent lawyers in Bedford, Cannon, Clay, Coffee, DeKalb, Fentress, Franklin, Grundy, Jackson, Lincoln, Macon, Marshall, Moore, Overton, Pickett, Putnam, Rutherford, Sequatchie, Smith, Trousdale, Van Buren, Warren, White and Wilson counties.

Pierce serves as corporate counsel for the university and handles education, labor and employment law matters. She earned her law degree from the University of South Carolina School of Law.
