TVA PowerSave Campus spring conference held at Sewanee

Close

Sewanee's Office of Environmental Stewardship and Sustainability recently hosted the TVA PowerSave Campus Spring Convergence. The conference brought 40 visitors to campus from six Southeastern schools (Sewanee, University of Alabama-Huntsville, Memphis, University of Mississippi, Calhoun Community College, and Western Kentucky), as well as speakers from as far away as California and Washington, D.C. The conference covered a breadth of energy conservation and sustainability topics, including lectures to educate the PowerSave Intern teams about implementation strategies for their individual campuses. The PowerSave Campus Intern program (formerly Green Campus Network) is a joint venture between TVA and the Alliance to Save Energy.
