A Consuming Conversation, a cross-disciplinary discussion

All are invited to hear professors John Willis (history), Jim Peters (philosophy), Sid Brown (religion), and Jeff Thompson (art and art history) discuss the development and implications of modern consumer culture in a cross-disciplinary conversation. Refreshments by Julia's.
Part of "Waste-Not" Week hosted by the Green House and the Sustainability Fellows. The week includes a campaign to reduce food waste in McClurg Dining Hall, and an opportunity for students to pledge to carry around the trash they generate over the course of the week to raise awareness of the implications of consumerism.
