African Cultural Dance Company featuring the Heritage Drummers

The African Cultural Dance Company, featuring the acclaimed Heritage Drummers from Atlanta, will perform in Convocation Hall at 7:30 p.m. Friday, April 5. The performance is free and the public is invited.

One of the most exciting drumming ensembles in the South, their performance will include traditional dances to the powerful music of the drums. Featuring the sounds and the rhythms of the Yoruba people, the drummers will perform on instruments including the bata, bembe, agogo, sekere, and the DunDun (talking drum).
