“Beasts of the Southern Wild” at the SUT Thursday-Sunday
- on 7 Dec 2012
- Sewanee Union Theatre
This fantastical drama follows a little girl named Hushpuppy who lives in a forgotten but defiant bayou community cut off from the rest of the world by a sprawling levee. Buoyed by her childish optimism and extraordinary imagination, she believes that the natural world is in balance with the universe until a fierce storm changes her reality. When her father falls ill, Hushpuppy sets off to find her long-lost mother. Rated PG-13.
