Entrepreneurship Week: Brian Reynolds, C’90, “Gaming Your Way to the Top”

Brian Reynolds, C’90, will present "Gaming Your Way to the Top: My entrepreneurial adventures in the world of videogames, smartphones, and Facebook.” A reception follows the lecture, and all are welcome to attend. Part of Entrepreneurship Week, sponsored by the Babson Center for Global Commerce.
Brian Reynolds, a Sewanee philosophy and history double major, has been involved with the creation of video games since his high school days and is recognized as one of the industry's leading game developers. He played a principal role in the creation of three game studios, Firaxis, Big Huge Games, and Zynga East. As chief game designer for Zynga, the company behind FarmVille, CityVille and FrontierVille, he is deeply involved in the explosive movement of gaming to social media platforms. His games have sold more than six million copies.
Reynolds is the 2012 Humphreys Entrepreneur in Residence. This series is made possible by a generous gift from David (C'79) and Debra Humphreys. The Department of Philosophy is the co-sponsor of this event.
