“Success in a Very Competitive Space,” Babson “Viewpoints” speaker Michael Keiser
- on 9 Feb 2012
- Gailor Auditorium
Golf and greeting card entrepreneur Mike Keiser discusses the special challenges of winning in tough marketplaces. In 1971, Keiser and his college roommate created an upstart greeting card company, taking on industry giants like Hallmark and American Greetings. Keiser's "green" and whimsical company changed the industry. In the 1990s, Keiser trusted his skills and instincts again and began a new career as a golf course developer. He changed the rules in that business, too.
Michael L. Keiser, president of the Bandon Dunes Golf Resort, will be the Easter Semester speaker for the Bryan Viewpoints Speaker Series on February 9. The Viewpoints series is sponsored by the Babson Center for Global Commerce. Find more information on the Babson Center site.
